Science applied makes life better. It sustains mental health and enhances wellbeing.
This increases engagement, productivity and performance.
Our workshops do just that. We apply science to make life better.
We address current team performance and wellbeing, as well as give tools to understand and manage changing requirements across team members' lifespans.
45 minute neuroscience blitz.
Outcome: Individual empowerment, team cohesion. Tools for sustained attention and focus.
The Neuroscience of FATIGUE, decision making, exhaustion, motivation and drive – how the brain tracks uncertainty and manufactures capacity to act.
A neurological framework of THREE key networks that make the self.
1. Understand what sustains attention and performance at work, and how to manage that [network 1].
2. How the brain sustains your capacity for pleasure, motivation, meaning or dread, and how to manage that [network 2].
3. How your self-image and concept is formed and maintained on a neural level, and why that is important for performance at work and engagement with family [network 3].
4. What happens when the networks don’t function well – why unbalanced behaviour and thoughts occur, and how to minimize that [all three networks].
The importance of all three key brain networks functioning well and together - the nature and cause of crisis, of feeling “triggered”, anxious, dreadful and how to manage those.
Learn and practice using tools to make life, work and relationships more enjoyable and meaningful.
Neuroscience for performance and joy.
Outcome: teams that take better risks, make better decisions and deliver better results. Healthier teams too!
Three workshops to cover the SCIENCE and PRACTICE of mental health and performance.
I. Neuroscience of attention & learning; fatigue & burnout. Tools to manage these.
II. Neuroscience of effective rest & recreation; creativity & motivation. Tools to manage these.
III. Neuroscience of relationships: children & partners; diverse teams; the self. Neural mechanisms of change through mid-life. Tools to manage these.
The immediate outcome is a few "aha" moments. Post-workshop feedback invariably includes self-reported boost to wellbeing; increased trust between participants; rising curiosity; teams and employees who are less anxious and more engaged.
